The Dash 8HF is a portable data acquisition recorder engineered specifically for capturing high frequency data and transient signals. This versatile system provides eight isolated analog inputs and eight event inputs streaming directly to a dedicated 250GB hard drive. Data is sampled at user selectable rates up to 2 MHz with a bandwidth of 200kHz per channel. The Dash 8HF is the ideal system to give you an accurate record of your high speed data.

The system contains 8 isolated inputs that accept up to 250VRMS. The versatile digital signal processing of the Dash 8HF provides a wide variety of filtering capabilities, including low pass, high pass, band pass, band stop and RMS filtering. Frequency counter inputs are also included.

The Dash 8HF is equipped with 10/100/1000BaseT Ethernet for direct connection to a PC for recorder setup and data upload/review. Windows-based AstroVIEW X software allows data to be imported to a PC for data analysis and review. The user can import data to popular spreadsheet and analysis programs including Excel, DADiSP and MathCAD with a simple conversion command. Scaling for each channel is customizable, allowing the Dash 8HF to display data in user-defined Engineering units. The math feature of the Dash 8HF also provides powerful FFT analysis of data captured on the hard drive, with features such as windowing functions and selectable window sizes.

Waveforms can be viewed from any angle on the high-resolution color touch-screen monitor. The customizable touch-panel user interface transforms the Dash 8HF into a dedicated data acquisition system for your specific requirements. The display is completely customizable, and different colors can be used for waveforms, grids, timing marks and annotation. When signals exceed specified limits, the "alarm" can be set to change the waveform color, instantly alerting the user to possible areas of interest.

Link ports on each Dash 8HF allow captures from multiple systems to be synchronized, ideal for capturing high number of channels. USB 2.0 and internal DVD allows fast removal of data records.

An optional high security version designated the Dash 8HF-HS is available for defense and aerospace applications. The high security version includes locking, removable hard drives for securing confidential data.
