IEEE 1394 connectors are used to connect FireWire^® devices such as host controllers, adapters, hard drives, hubs, repeaters, and card readers. IC interfaces are semiconductor chips that are used to control and manage the sharing of information between devices.

RAID controllers are computer boards that control RAID systems.
