Custom Cable got their start manufacturing communications cable assemblies. Early on, they recognized a need for faster availability and competitive prices. Beginning with a line of manufactured cables, they honed their product development expertise to keep pace with today's high-speed technology. In 1981 they expanded to offer installation services—a blend of system design along with building construction know-how.
Acquired by Steelcase in 2001, they support their clients with proprietary plug and play zone cabling. Their integrated solutions enable clients to quickly reconfigure space or take their network cabling with them if they move.
Today, Custom Cable offers an impressive line of central office, custom, standards based and network cables. They provide an array of connectivity solutions including structured cabling; network, voice and data solutions; and professional services.
